19 "Landlord Specials" So Diabolical, I'm Starting To Think You Should Need A License To Own A Paintbrush

If you've ever rented before, then you've probably encountered the infamous "landlord special" — aka when a landlord fixes something in the cheapest, laziest, and most questionable way possible. So, after scrolling through r/mildlyinfuriating and finding way too many examples of this phenomenon, here are 19 "landlord specials" so cursed that I'm starting to think paint should require a license:

1. The before-and-after nobody asked for.

3. Nothing a screwdriver can't fix.

5. Super secure security system.

8. Reserved for anyone who can park through metal.

9. Installed is a very loose term.

10. I'm baffled, confused, and irritated.

11. Can't wait to take a shower!

12. Equal opportunity suffering.

15. Fall decor, but make it permanent.

16. What color was it before...?

18. Just paint the nob, too, at this point.

19. And lastly, how many coats does it take to get to the center of the Tootsie Pop?
