Tell me if this sounds familiar: You watch a movie, you think that was fine, whatever. But then, a couple of days later, you start thinking harder about the plot, and you realize, wait...that movie was actually SUPER MESSED UP!

Well, a viral Reddit thread has been discussing just that. Over at r/TopCharacterTropes, redditors are talking about movies where, "There’s a clear moral to the story, it’s just objectively toxic/bad." And lemme tell you, after reading these, I can't argue. Here are some of the most upvoted examples:

1. Raya and the Last Dragon

3. Lilo & Stitch (Live-Action)

4. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation

5. Christmas With the Kranks

7. Ruby Gillman: Teenage Kraken

9. Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted

11. Ralph Breaks the Internet

12. Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer

15. Star Wars: The Last Jedi

18. The Super Mario Galaxy Movie

21. How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World
