The photos, which you can see below, sparked a lot of speculation about the cosmetic work and “aesthetic treatments” Kim had potentially undergone.

For context, Kim claimed in 2022 that while she’d had “a little bit of Botox,” she’d “never” had any fillers. “I’ve never done anything…I’ve never filled my cheeks. I’ve never filled my lips,” she said, attributing her youthful appearance to select laser treatments.
Now, Kim has addressed speculation that she secretly got a facelift while revealing how she achieves her “snatched” appearance.
In a new video shared to Instagram, a makeup-free Kim — who was prepping for the Season 2 premiere of her Hulu show All’s Fair in Rome — underwent a treatment called XERF, which she described as her “favorite skin-tightening ever.”
According to medical aesthetics company Cynosure Lutronic, XERF is a “non-invasive, structural skin-tightening and collagen-boosting radiofrequency treatment.” In the US, it reportedly costs around $2,000 on average.
“What I love about this treatment is there’s no needles, so it’s just completely tolerable,” Kim said while getting the treatment done, before addressing a famous TikToker who speculated about what cosmetic work she and other celebrities have had done.
“He was so positive, but he was like, this is like the work of lasers, good injectables, and a facelift — about my face,” Kim said without naming any names.
Kim went on to reveal that her hairstylist, Chris Appleton, is largely behind her snatched red carpet appearances. “I was like, ‘No, that’s like the Chris Appleton facelift,’ which is the snatch where he, like, pulls your hair so tight that it pulls your face back,” she said.
“I don’t know if I should be offended or it's the biggest compliment of my life,” Kim said in response to the facelift speculation.
“You know what’s so crazy? He says right here, that’s the scar,” she said while pointing next to her ear. “But if you pull my ear up, there’s no line. It’s so funny. The guy thinks it’s a scar, but it’s just a wrinkle.”
Clarifying that a facelift isn’t off the cards in the future, Kim added, “I mean, of course I’ve met with Steven Levine*, just to be like, ‘When is the year that I’m gonna need this?’ And he was like, ‘You’re perfect. You have that wrinkle…That’s like the perfect place for a scar.’”
