Brentford vs. Nottingham Forest prediction markets on ProphetX: Best Premier League value picks and promos

Nottingham Forest have their work cut out for them as they hope to pull themselves out of the bottom three in the Premier League standings in a visit to Brentford on Saturday.

Oliver Glasner's side have experienced a very wonky first eight games of the 2026/27 season, looking promising at times but winning just once thus far in the league.

This match should be a tough one against the Bees who have 11 points thus far to put them sixth in the table. They've won just one of their last five and two overall this season, but five draws have kept them in the top-half hunt early on.

It's never too late in the sports calendar to start using ProphetX. New users can get started with the TSN promo code for a $75 prediction bonus. The Sporting News has everything you need to know about how to get $75 worth of prediction bonuses for the Premier League on ProphetX.

When is Brentford vs. Nottingham Forest?

Brentford vs. Nottingham Forest value picks on ProphetX

• Under 2.5 total goals (46.08% on ProphetX)
• Draw (25.97% on ProphetX)

Brentford have been defensively solid so far this season, conceding just nine goals through eight games this season.

Nottingham Forest have too, but you wouldn't know it by their results so far. In fact, Nottingham Forest have been MUCH better than their record shows, with the fourth-best expected goals differential in the entire Premier League so far, even though they sit 19th in the standings.

Indeed, Forest have underperformed their xG massively, scoring just six goals on 15.75 xG, while conceding 10 goals on 9.03 xGA. That gives them an expected goal differential of almost +7, while their actual differential is -4.

At some point, something will have to give. Either the performances will shrink to better reflect their standing, their results will tick upwards to match their performances, or a combination of both. This game against a mid-table quality side is the perfect time for the season to turn around, but Brentford know how to manage matches like this well. A draw is a great way to play both sides.

PREDICTION: Brentford 1, Nottingham Forest 1
