Yesterday, something big happened: The cast of HBO's hit series Girls announced that they'll be returning to our screens for a five-episode reboot.

Girls creator and star Lena Dunham was 23 years old when the show's pilot aired in 2012, and the revival comes exactly a decade after its sixth season wrapped in 2017.

The reboot cast will feature the show's iconic quartet of girls — Lena Dunham as Hannah Horvath, Allison Williams as Marnie Michaels, Jemima Kirke as Jessa Johansson, and Zosia Mamet as Shoshanna Shapiro — alongside fan-favorite series regular Andrew Rannells as Elijah Krantz.
Last time we saw them, they were 20-somethings navigating the ups and downs of early adulthood in NYC. And getting the rare chance to catch up with their 40-year-old selves is something Girls fans are not taking for granted.

It's hard to imagine what a gaggle of girls as chaotic, wild, and youthful as Hannah, Marnie, Shosh, and Jessa will be like as women.

The world has changed sooooo much in the last decade.
The Girls reboot won't go into production until Summer 2027, but until then, people are coming in hot with predictions of what we may see:
