Crystal Harris was just 21 years old when she joined Hugh Hefner’s infamous Playboy Mansion, and she ended up marrying Hugh five years later, when she was 26 and he was 86. The two remained together until Hugh’s death in 2017.

And while Crystal spent years largely speaking pretty highly of Hugh, she started to divulge the more “complicated and conflicting” truth about her time at the Playboy Mansion from around 2022. Since then, she has been increasingly vocal about her negative experiences with Hugh.

In 2024, Crystal released a memoir, titled Only Say Good Things: Surviving Playboy and Finding Myself, in which she made claims about how “controlling” Hugh was — not just when it came to sex, but also regarding her physical appearance.

While promoting the tell-all book, Crystal described her and Hugh’s marriage as “very traumatic,” “emotionally abusive,” and “restrictive,” adding to E! News: “I didn't realize how bad it was until I was away from it for a while.”

And in July of this year, Crystal reflected on why she regretted her time with Hugh in a candid Instagram video, where she said: “I regret being in my mid-20s and thinking that marrying one of the most famous men in the world meant I had finally made it, that I finally mattered or had value. I regret the years I spent making myself smaller so his world could feel bigger. I regret learning to stay quiet when I could have spoken. I regret the version of myself that I had to abandon just to survive in that environment. I regret that it took me as long as it did to understand what was actually happening — like, years.”

At the time, actor and Saturday Night Live alum Jon Lovitz sparked backlash when he commented on her post: “😮Do you regret the house he bought for you to live in, after his death? And keeping the money, after you sold it? And all the times your mother was at the mansion? And do you regret all he did for you? And do you regret leaving him and then coming back to marry him?"

For reference, Jon was a fixture on SNL from 1985 to 1990 and also has a notable voice-acting career. Movies on his résumé include Big, A League of Their Own, Rat Race, and The Wedding Singer. He is now known for his MAGA views, and has vocally expressed his support for Donald Trump on multiple occasions.

Now, during a recent appearance on Lisa Guerrero Unleashed, Crystal has responded to Jon’s comment — and made some pretty damning claims about the 69-year-old star while she was at it.

Reflecting on his comment on her post, Crystal said: “He got completely attacked in my comments because women were like: ‘Oh, just because someone buys you something, your own husband, then it means that they can assault you or hurt you?’”

She then pointedly added: “I’m like: ‘Jon Lovitz, you were Playboy Mansion’s number one customer. You were one of the biggest pervs there. Sit down!’”

Doubling down on the fact that Jon was a frequent visitor at the Playboy mansion, Crystal said: “He would be up there all the time. And his eyes would go front to back, all the women that walked through the door. And at the parties, he’d be the lurker. And I remember him every time, every party.”

But Jon had a pretty nonchalant response to Crystal’s claim, brushing the whole thing off as he addressed her calling him the mansion’s number one customer in a paparazzi video obtained by Page Six, where he quips: “Any time someone says I’m No. 1, it’s a compliment.”

Perhaps unsurprisingly, this hasn’t landed well with Crystal, who told the same publication in response to the video: “I think Jon Lovitz is part of the problem. I think many men who came up to that mansion [and] were very sexist and misogynistic are all part of that problem. If I could dismantle that toxic masculinity and patriarchy just a little bit, I will feel happy. It’s very sad.”
