Ludwig Ahgren has a message for four content creators who attended his wedding to fellow streamer QTCinderella over the weekend: He will never forgive them. Not until he dies.
The newlyweds shared a breakdown of their nuptials that occurred on Oct. 18 on an episode of QTCinderella's Wine About It podcast, where they discussed the details of their wedding. At one point, they mentioned a scheduling delay.
"Unfortunately, we were running behind schedule, which wasn't our fault," QTCinderella, whose real name is Blaire, said. She explained that the wedding ceremony was delayed because guests were still arriving.
And her new husband Ludwig wasn't about to let the offenders stay anonymous.
QT begins talking about some "late guests" who delayed the wedding, saying, "I bet you guys can guess who they were." Ludwig mentions that he had already spoken about the snafu on his stream earlier, and she asked him, "Did you drop names?"
"I'll drop some names," he said. "F*** them." Then he called out Fuslie, Tina, Miyoung, and ExtraEmily. "I hate them until I die," said Ludwig.
"Until I die, I will not forgive them. At the point that I die, all is forgiven," he finished. "They did, unfortunately, set the entire wedding back to the point that we didn't get as many photos as we wanted," QTCinderella added.
The clip quickly spread across social media and was eventually seen by ExtraEmily hours later, who learned about the callout during her livestream after her chat told her about it.
"What?!" she exclaimed with a shocked look in response to the video, before abruptly ending her stream.
She later logged back on to address the situation and explain why the group arrived late. "It was a mistake," she said on Wednesday. "Someone happened to put the wrong address; I feel bad that we were late."
"I do apologize for offsetting the wedding. I do feel bad about that. It was a mistake," she said again, before reiterating that the group was about 15 minutes late because of a navigational error. "Accidents happen," said ExtraEmily.
The internet began to pile onto ExtraEmily, with one X user writing, "If she was that bothered by it, she'd have apologized before Ludwig aired it out on social media."
And another X user scolded, "Putting the wrong address for a wedding is a crazy excuse, how do you even manage that."
The dogpile was so severe that QTCinderella stepped in to address the controversy early Thursday morning, writing, "Stop being parasocial freaks and hating on someone on behalf of a streamer."
"Yes, people were late to our wedding. Yes, it set the wedding back. No, it does not need to be farmed to oblivion by the plague that is drama clippers," she wrote on X.
"This job is weird cause you share your personal life online and then as you become more ingrained in it other content creators become your personal life," she continued.
"Then you continue to share your personal life online. But now personal life gets twisted into hate farms by bad faith clippers. (Which quite literally did not exist 2 years ago)."
"If you are s****ing on someone YOU DON'T KNOW because they were late to a wedding of someone YOU DON'T KNOW," wrote the streamer, "You should go outside."
She followed that tweet up with another, explaining that "Ultimately it was my choice to stall the wedding" and that if she knew on the big day what she knows today, she "wouldn't have waited."
The controversy had fans arguing over everything from wedding etiquette and accountability to questioning why the newlyweds chose to publicly call out guests despite anticipating what the reaction might be. "Then why sit there and say it wasn't your fault making it look 10x worse on your friends," one user replied to QT on X.
While plenty of viewers chastised the late streamers, many also defended them. "It's your wedding. You run the show," wrote one X user. "It is nobody's fault that YOUR wedding is behind schedule."
Another user called the lateness "tacky" and said "there is zero reason to be late."
In the end, a wrong turn on the way to a wedding somehow became an internet controversy involving six streamers and a bunch of random people who weren't even invited.
