Johnny Manziel sends NSFW message to alma mater Texas A&M after blowout loss to LSU

Consecutive losses have Texas A&M quickly falling out of College Football Playoff contention.

The Aggies, after their loss to Kentucky last week, dropped a 35-6 game to LSU on Saturday, dropping their record to 2-2 with quarterback Marcel Reed off to a lackluster start to the season.

With Texas A&M likely on the verge of being dropped from the polls, one of the program's biggest stars, Johnny Manziel, called out his alma mater online.

Here's what Manziel said in his NSFW post about Texas A&M's struggles.

Texas A&M didn't exactly bounce-back well from its 31-21 loss to Kentucky in Week 3, an upset that dropped the Aggies to the No. 23 spot in the AP Poll. In Week 4, they couldn't contend with LSU.

By halftime, the Tigers led 14-3, and an ugly third quarter for the Aggies led to a 35-6 final score. Reed managed just 106 passing yards and an interception in the loss, with his team failing to score a touchdown.

Over two social media posts, Manziel made his thoughts clear: he has not been impressed with his former Aggies squad.

"Belt to a--," Manziel wrote. "Better do some soul searching or you’re going to be the b---- of the SEC this year boys."

Last week, Manziel also shared his thoughts on Reed on social media. He reposted one tweet that said Reed was being pressed to "be something he’s not" and that he's not a "surgical pocket passer."

With Texas A&M already at two losses, it has little-to-no room for error if a resurgence toward playoff contention is going to happen. And with matchups against Missouri, Alabama and Tennessee still looming, it's looking likely that 2026 will be a down year for Mike Elko's squad.
