1 month ago 41

Somehow, 2026 has turned into the year of babies. Seriously, everywhere we look, another celebrity has announced that they've welcomed a new addition to the family. Don't get me wrong — I'm not complaining by any means, but I'm starting to wonder what's in the water this year...

So if you've lost track of who's officially become parents, don't worry. Here are 15 celebrities who have welcomed babies in 2026:

1. The iconic Mother Monster has officially welcomed her very own little monster. Lady Gaga and her fiancé Michael Polansky quietly welcomed their first child together, and were first spotted out with their baby on September 11. How fitting, going from Mother Monster to actual mother is perfect, and we wish all the best for the new fam.

2. The voice of a generation, Lena Dunham, recently entered her mother era as well. She and her husband, Luis Felber, welcomed their first baby via surrogate in a Vogue essay with the message, "We've been waiting for you, do you know that? It was so nice of you to come."

3. Natalie Portman quietly gave birth to her third child in August, marking her first baby with her partner, Tanguy Destable. The award-winning actress opened up about the experience, saying: "I'm just very grateful. I know it's such a privilege and a miracle. I grew up hearing about how hard it is to get pregnant. I have so many people I love who've had such a hard time with it that I want to be respectful around that as well. It's such a beautiful, joyous thing, and it's also not an easy thing."

4. Elizabeth Olsen is officially mother! Okay, correction — a mother. The actress and her husband, Robbie Arnett, welcomed their first baby in August. The couple has generally kept their personal lives pretty private, but after Olsen was spotted in Los Angeles carrying her newborn, the news was officially out.

5. Actor Sebastian Stan and his girlfriend, Annabelle Walles, welcomed their first child together in July after keeping much of their journey to parenthood out of the spotlight. Before becoming a father, stan spoke with Deadline about the weight he felt stepping into the role: "I'm feeling the responsibility of being a good father. And not to mention a good man... I'm 43 and I feel, in a lot of ways, I'm just starting to learn now. It's just crazy to me. So, I love when I see I'm discovering different people's point of view. I try to read as much as I can, no matter what the point of view is, just to understand it."

6. Aubrey Plaza and her boyfriend Christopher Abbott welcomed their first baby girl back in July after being spotted holding their newborn as well. The White Lotus star was previously showing off her baby bump, but the couple kept most of the details around their pregnancy and birth pretty lowkey. And honestly? Good for them! Welcome to motherhood, Plaza.

7. Singer Charlie Puth and his wife, Brooke Puth, announced in March that they were newfound parents to a baby boy, with a message reading "Hey Jude 🩵 3.13.26" via Instagram. I wonder if he too, will have incredible music pitch down the line. Only time will tell...

8. Meghan Trainor and Daryl Sabara welcomed another baby earlier this year! With the help of a surrogate back in January, Trainor shared: "Our baby girl Mikey Moon Trainor has finally made it to the world thanks to our incredible, superwoman surrogate... We are forever grateful to all the doctors, nurses, teams who made this dream possible." With an incredible singer as a mother and an alumi Spy Kid as a father, their family will be nothing short of awesome.

9. The hilarious Rebel Wilson and her wife Ramona Agruma are now a family of four! The couple announced in May that they had welcomed their second daughter, Rose, taking to Instagram: "What a gorgeous blessing to have another little girl! Now on May 4th it's now 4 of us! Ramona and I are feeling so incredibly grateful and blessed to grow our family, thank you everyone for all the well wishes 🩷."

10. From one Madden to another, Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden welcomed another son! The couple announced in May that they had welcomed their son, Nautas Madden with a sweet message: "We love life with our family- our kids are healthy&happy, and we are grateful!!!🙏🙏having a blast ❤️ Sending all our best wishes- the Madden Family ❤️🙏👊🏴‍☠️"

11. Sinners star Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen officially became parents this spring. The couple revealed on April 2 that they welcomed their first child and shared that they were "incredibly grateful."

12. Actor Josh Duhamel and his wife, Audra Mari, also welcomed a new addition to their family this year! Announcing the birth of their second child together via Instagram, they stated: "Our baby girl is here 🤍🕊️."

13. David Henrie and his wife, Maria Cahill, welcomed their "rainbow baby," Peter Henrie, on September 2nd. Maria shared the news through David's Instagram, joking: "Peter Henrie was born September 2nd, taking his own sweet time, a week late, at a whopping 10lbs 4oz. God bless a woman's pelvis. Truly."

But behind the jokes was an emotional story. If you didn't know what a rainbow baby was, you are officially today years old learning. A rainbow baby is a child born to a family after a previous loss. Cahill shared their experiences in a touching story saying: "November of 2023, we buried Isabel. I lost her in my second trimester to a bacteria in severe food poisoning that was literally the most traumatic experience of my life: home alone, kids asleep in the rooms next door, David on a flight. Complete nightmare fuel for the next three years... This birth has been nothing short of redemptive for our family, especially our kids who prayed every single day quite directly and (slightly) morbidly 'that Peter doesn't die.' We are so immensely grateful that he's here."

14. The Ginny & Georgia star, Brianne Howey, and her husband, Matt Ziering, announced in August that they welcomed their second baby together via Instagram: "Our whole world just got a little more whole 💛🌼"

15. John Lennon and Yoko Ono's son, Sean Ono Lennon, announced on September 1st that he and his partner, Charlotte Kemp Muhl, had welcomed their very first child together! And because no baby announcement is complete without at least a touch of silliness, Sean shared the news on Instagram by writing: "@charlottekempmuhl and I have created a Human Bean! His name is Aurelius! Thank you!"

So there you have it: LOTS and lots of babies, growing families, and celebrities entering their mother era in 2026. Which announcement surprised you the most? Did I miss anyone who should be on this list? Let us know in the comments below!
