The Pittsburgh Steelers are reportedly shaking up their offensive line for the Week 3 game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Steelers will start rookie Max Iheanachor at right tackle and veteran Brock Hoffman at right guard this week.

"The Steelers will feature an entirely new right side of their O-line this week, with first-round rookie OT Max Iheanachor making his debut as a starter, sources say," Rapoport reported.

"In addition, Brock Hoffman will be at right guard. It all starts up front," Rapoport added.

Why Steelers are making OL changes

The reason is pretty simple: Pittsburgh's offensive line has been putrid through two games.

Rodgers has been sacked six times, tied for the seventh-most in the NFL, and the Steelers' group upfront has given up 28 pressures in total, including 15 last week, according to Pro Football Focus.

The Steelers' rushing attack has struggled also, with the ground game posting just 3.4 yards per carry.

As you'd expect, all of that has had a negative impact on the Steelers' offense, which is scoring just 11.5 points per game, ranking dead last.
