Week 1 of the NFL season includes a matchup of two NFC divisional winners hoping to build off a promising 2025.

The Chicago Bears were one of the NFL's most exciting teams last season, producing a number of come-from-behind wins on their way to winning the NFC North. Caleb Williams and Ben Johnson led the team to a playoff win over the rival Packers as Chicago approaches the 2026 season with Super Bowl aspirations.

Meanwhile, the Carolina Panthers were a surprise division winner, taking the NFC South despite winning just eight games on the season. Bryce Young had his best season in his young career, while head coach Dave Canales helped the team take another step forward.

For the 2026 season, both the Bears and Panthers believe they should not only return to the playoffs, but make a deep run in the process. The winner of this contest will get off to a good start in their search for the postseason.
