A top-ranked college basketball matchup will take place in the nation's capital this weekend as No. 9 Virginia and No. 12 Arkansas go head-to-head.

Virginia is looking like a top-tier team heading into this season, only ranked below Duke in the conference projections. The Cavaliers have a stacked roster under head coach Ryan Odom, featuring preseason ACC player of the year Thijs De Ridder and talented returners Chance Mallory and Sam Lewis.

Meanwhile, John Calipari's side boasts the country's No. 1 recruiting class, highlighted by star freshman guard Jordan Smith Jr. Arkansas has fared well so far with wins over Gonzaga, Memphis and Arkansas-Pine Bluff, though Sunday will be the first true test for this younger squad.
