It’s fair to say that when people think of Kylie Jenner, a whole lot probably comes to mind: reality TV icon, influencer, makeup mogul, billionaire, you get the gist.

After all, the 29-year-old star has spent pretty much her entire life in the spotlight, with the world watching Kylie grow up before their very eyes on her various family reality shows.

And it doesn’t look like she’s planning on slowing down anytime soon, with Kylie very recently adding yet another seriously impressive achievement to her résumé when she wore the iconic Fantasy Bra at the 2026 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show earlier this month.

But amid all the glitz, glamour, and endless business ventures, it can be incredibly easy to forget that Kylie is also a mom to two young children: 8-year-old Stormi and 4-year-old Aire, whom she shares with her ex, Travis Scott.
And this is probably why people were so intrigued to see a glimpse of Kylie in full-on Mom Mode in a recent vlog — and they were pleasantly surprised to realize that she is actually pretty firm with her kids.
The brief moment occurred in Kylie’s Oct. 3 YouTube vlog, which you might already be familiar with because it’s the same one where she hired out a movie theater for a cozy evening with her friends.
When she got home, Kylie filmed herself removing her makeup in her bathroom before bed, commenting that it was “way past” her bedtime. Right on cue, Stormi appeared in the shot, with Kylie exclaiming: “Look who’s still up!”
“Look who is still awake while mommy is trying to film her YouTube,” Kylie added, with Stormi beaming at the camera — seemingly aware that she wasn’t supposed to be awake. Kylie then playfully tickled her:
“What are you doing awake?” Kylie asked her daughter. Stormi giggled before coyly replying: “Ermmm, I had to say goodnight.” With a surprisingly stern-yet-gentle tone, Kylie said: “Get to bed, you — give me hugs.”
At this point, she hugged Stormi and gave her a goodnight kiss, saying, “Go to bed.” Stormi said that she would and went off-camera, but seemingly was still playing up as Kylie’s ultimate mom voice — and facial expression — came through, saying: “I’m serious, Storm,” with a frown.
“No nonsense!” she then warned, adding: “I hear those footsteps.”
After listening to make sure that Stormi had gone back to her room, Kylie returned to her cleansing routine.
This clip recently went viral on TikTok, where many people shared their delight at seeing a different side of Kylie. One of the most popular comments on the video — which has been seen more than 4.8 million times and has over 698K likes at the time of writing — reads: “I just know Kylie is strict 🤣 stormi didn’t ask no question.”
“SAY WHAT YOU WANT ABOUT THIS WOMAN, she is a phenomenal mother, it's clear as day,” another adds. Somebody else wrote: “She don’t play I just know 😭.” One more added: “the change from stormi to storm when being firm is like when a mother would call out your whole name when you were in trouble.”
Somebody else noted: “this is how gentle parenting should be. genuine affection and very clear boundaries.” While another joked: “She was tryna keep it cute for the camera but had it been off we would’ve heard a ‘NOW’😂.”
