LeBron James gives Caitlin Clark valuable gift after 76ers game

LeBron James' 13-point, 10-assist double-double helped the Philadelphia 76ers rally past the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday night.

It's fitting that James had this kind of double-double in Indiana, where Caitlin Clark has made a living as one of the WNBA's premier passers.

And it's even more appropriate that Clark was in the crowd at Gainbridge Fieldhouse for King James' visit, which ended in a 114-109 win for the 76ers over the shorthanded Pacers.

After the game, Clark and James met up in the tunnel, where James gifted the Indiana Fever star a signed jersey.

"Just a couple of hoopers" was the caption on the 76ers' social media post.

Clark and James have enjoyed a friendship that pre-dates the WNBA All-Star's entry into the pros.

James celebrated Clark's game and her impact on basketball during the sharpshooter's NCAA tenure at Iowa, where she led the Hawkeyes to consecutive national championship game appearances.

With James back in the Eastern Conference, Clark will get a couple more chances to see one of her basketball heroes. And next time, she might gifting the autographed jersey instead.
